The biggest concern for me was the lack of fire exit information beyond a couple of signs on the ground floor. The upper two floors have confusing, winding routes, and I kept meeting guests who were trying to find the restaurant. In a ground floor fire, I doubt many people staying upstairs would find their way out. If you stay, I strongly recommend learning the quickest route from your room to an exit. The hotel is made up of three Swiss chalet-style blocks across three levels, connected by interior corridors. Finding our room took a while because the connected buildings form a maze, but once we got there, it was fine. The fittings weren't new, though they were perfectly good for our stay. We were there for two nights on a coach trip around eastern Europe. From our top floor balcony room, the views west over the hilly Austrian countryside were dramatic, and the Vienna woods setting was spectacular. Ask for a balcony room if you can. Our group booking included dinner and breakfast. Dinner came with just two options, apparently limited by what the tour company was willing to pay per person, so I can only judge the food in that context. It was nicely cooked and presented, and I imagine the à la carte choices would be excellent. Breakfast was a very good European-style buffet. Staff wore traditional dress for dinner, which was a nice touch, and everyone we met was friendly and helpful.

We found the service and staff fantastic, the rooms in great condition, and the food excellent. The hotel sits in the Vienna woods while being right next to Vienna's city centre, so it works well for visiting the city and the surrounding area. There's something for everyone, and I'd recommend staying here.

The place itself was nice, but the pillows were so soft it felt like there wasn't one under my head. And please, Mrs owner, don't tell guests you can't change a pillow. You're the owner and should be able to go anywhere. Being past 19:00 isn't a valid excuse.

A rich, tasty breakfast and warm hospitality made this a lovely place to stay. Wienerwaldhof is beautiful, with really cozy beds and an eco-friendly terrace. It's a great spot to relax and take long walks in nature.

We came with Leger Tours on 30 Nov and stayed for two nights. I would've liked to stay longer. The room was lovely and clean, and the food was good. The snowfall was an extra treat. Excellent stay.
