There’s plenty to do around the hotel, including table tennis, a gym, a nice shared area, and even a racing simulator, which we really enjoyed. It’s a cozy place with superb service. The family who own and run it are absolutely lovely, and the rest of the staff are great too. I’d highly recommend staying here.

I reached my first peak, Grublspitze, here at 74! There’s plenty to see and do in the area, and we had a great week at this family-run hotel. Our room had excellent balcony views. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food and wine were excellent.

The breakfast is generous and made with fresh products, and dinner was delicious with half board. It’s also handy for skiing, with the bus stop close by. The setting is gorgeous, and the warm, friendly family hosts make you feel at home straight away. This is my absolute favorite hotel/pension. I always leave with a good feeling.

We had a great ski holiday with the kids. The small town seems made for ski trips, and PlayArena was perfect for the kids after ski school. Dinner was tasty, and the whole holiday felt smooth and carefree. The hotel has a lovely family atmosphere, especially with the Christmas decorations. It’s full of Alpine-style wood, and the walls and furniture look much newer in person than in the photos. The owner may not be great at taking pictures, because the hotel looks and feels a lot nicer than its Google photos suggest. Breakfast and dinner were both very tasty, and drink prices were reasonable for a restaurant. The ski rental shop, ski school office, mountain cable Bahn, Supermarkt, and indoor kids’ playground were all about five minutes away by car without traffic.

The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and clean, and the food is excellent. The wifi was the best ever, and the ski room is very well equipped. But what made the biggest difference was family Geisler. They’ve made this lovely place feel like a home away from home. They’re good, beautiful people with such positive energy, and they make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. I’d give Sonnleiten 10 out of 5 stars if I could 🙂
