The place was clean and fully equipped, and the kids really enjoyed the yard and its sports facilities. It’s in a scenic part of the Otztal Valley, with hiking routes within walking distance and plenty of attractions a short drive away. Melanie and her children were wonderful hosts. We can’t wait to come back in winter and see the valley from a different perspective.

Liebe Familie Waldhart: We all enjoyed staying in your little corner of the world. The village felt enchanting and the people were very friendly. There were eight adults in our family, and without a car we relied on public transport. Your house was ideally located, just a five minute walk to the bus stop and supermarket. The apartment was comfortable and stocked with all the dishes, everyday cooking items and appliances we needed. The layout worked really well, with enough seats for everyone to eat together and still room at the other end of the table for games or a puzzle. Your “Kachelofen” made the place feel especially cozy, with comfortable seating around it, and heated the apartment well. Melanie, thanks so much for answering our questions, being flexible about adding people to our group, and sharing useful information. Getting us tickets for the Aqua Dome was a big help, and it was a great experience on a rainy, snowy day. We’d love to return in summer for hiking and biking. The Bennett Family

With three young children, aged 2, 5 and 6, and four adults, we found this accommodation just right. It has everything you need, including toys, a garden with a playground and ponies, and a very well equipped place to stay. Melanie and Alexandra Waldhauser were kind, lovely hosts. Hochötz is nearby, about 10 minutes by bus or car, with great skiing from 2000 to 2700 m and a professionally run ski school for children. There are also many hiking paths near Umhausen, including waterfalls and routes to Niedertai village, that I’d like to explore in spring or fall. This was our third stay at Waldhart's Family holiday homes, and we loved every minute again. The apartment is wonderful and right in the center of town. Everything you need is provided when you arrive, it’s spotless, and the hosts are super helpful. We always have a great time here. Highly recommended.
