The dinner was delicious, with just the right amount of time between courses. Breakfast was a good buffet with everything you’d expect, and the wellness area was nice. Our room was clean, and the staff were very friendly. Service was spot on.

The scenery is beautiful, but the hospitality was missing. We felt extremely unwelcome, and the people we encountered were the least friendly we’ve seen anywhere. Won’t be back. Our room badly needs updating, and the maids missed things every day. The food was pedestrian at best. The village itself is limited, so you have to go down the mountain to other villages for restaurants, bakeries, cafes and stores. We’d booked nine days, but by day three I wanted to leave. I can’t explain the other high reviews unless there’s a xenophobic issue.

We only stayed one night, but the food was exceptional and the surroundings were amazing. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms very well kept. Staff were polite without hovering.

The food was delicious, and they have different programs for guests. Everyone is treated like family, with friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere. The surroundings are amazing too. Visit Tyrol’s best place!

Our gastfrau pointed us to this restaurant at Hotel Taufelberg, and I can see why. The atmosphere feels complete, the service is excellent, and the food is really tasty. Superb dining.
