We arrived by car, though regular buses run to the slope. The place is peaceful, and the staff are welcoming and helpful, especially a young tall gentleman. The food was great, so I’d recommend the half board option. Thanks for such great 😃 treatment.

A friend and I spent a week mountain biking here, and the family made us feel right at home. May weather in the low season was changeable, but the hosts, service, and facilities, especially for MTBs, made the stay feel good from start to finish. The accommodation was solid and comfortable, and the home cooking was good quality with a local style. Bernhard, the owner, is a trained cook and a mountain biker, as well as a qualified MTB guide. A guided tour is a must while you’re there. Monika, his wife, leads the guided MTB tours for the ladies. Prices are very reasonable and the value is fantastic. I’d also recommend visiting the nearby saline spa baths in Bad Reichenhall to soothe aching muscles.

Marcel stayed with us throughout the evening, and his warm personality really added to the experience. The service at our table was especially good, friendly, attentive, and courteous in a way we rarely encounter. We were absolutely delighted with the superb food too. Thanks for a fantastic evening. We’ll definitely come back!
