Weingarten-Resort Unterlamm Loipersdorf - Adults Only

The resort sits in a stunning spot among vineyards, and its quiet surroundings made for a pleasant stay. We won't be back, though. The calm carried most of the experience, because the accommodation didn't come close to justifying the price. It was clean, but the chalet felt basic, with Ikea-type furniture, and more like a container or mobile home than the luxury stay advertised. The bathroom and toilet were so tiny that a normal-sized adult would struggle to use them, which was a real letdown. There seemed to be some good ideas, but the host didn't execute them well. The beds were fairly uncomfortable, and the rough wooden terrace floor made going barefoot a bad idea unless you wanted splinters. Air conditioning in the units was a good feature. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the 30 minutes check-in procedure was cumbersome. Some guests might enjoy it, but we would have liked a better sense of which guests did and didn't. Breakfast was good and delivered fresh to the room each morning. The products were high quality, no complaints there, though having them presented in tin cans brought to mind a school camping trip.

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home at the Weingarten Resort. We stayed from February 12th to 15th in Weinhaus 08, with its sauna and whirlpool, and everything was clean and comfortable, with nothing missing. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, too. Peace and privacy clearly matter here, which was just what we wanted. On February 14th, we had dinner at the "smallest restaurant." It was a delicious meal in a wonderfully romantic setting, and the service was warm and attentive. That evening was the highlight of our stay, and anyone in the area should make a point of visiting. Everything was perfect for us. Thanks for the relaxing days. We'll certainly return!

We've stayed at the Weingarten Resort several times and have loved it every time. The houses are furnished to a high standard and show great attention to detail. Everyone on staff is friendly and helpful, and getting service right to the WeinHAUS is no problem. It's an ideal spot if, like us, you want peace and a chance to unwind.
