The location worked well for us, and both the hotel and our room were clean. We enjoyed the stay and were satisfied overall. The half-board could be better, though, with more variety in the meals.

The wellness area and pool are real highlights at this small, cozy hotel, which is conveniently close to the Brunnalm skiing resort. We had a few odd discussions about tables and other things during our stay, and they left us feeling less than welcome. That’s why I rated the service as only mediocre.

The hotel itself was really good, but our birthday break didn’t turn out to be very relaxing. A school group was spread around the hotel, and the kids sang in choir all day. They weren’t causing trouble, but their seminar room was left open most of the time, so we could hear the lessons from our room. I did speak to the teacher about it. We’d come for some chill time for my birthday, and unfortunately didn’t get that.

We had a very nice stay, as we have at all the JUFA hotels we’ve visited. Stuhleck ski resort is 25 minutes away by car. Back at the hotel, the room was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious too.

Veitsch is a nice little town, and the hotel is right in the center. We stayed in May with two adults and two kids. The large pool has a slide, and there’s also a big garden with ping pong tables. Our room was clean and nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful, though communication could be tricky sometimes since not everyone speaks German or good English. The breakfast and dinner buffets were good value for money.
