A&T Hotel & Hostel

For the price, the hostel offered excellent service. It was clean and comfortable, and the heating worked well. I included breakfast and really enjoyed it, especially since it meant we didn’t have to hunt for a restaurant at the start of the day. A special thank you to the kitchen team: Javiera, Jose, and another woman whose name I never learned. They were kind and polite, always paying attention to what people needed and making everyone feel welcome. I loved meeting them. It was a great hostel experience, and I felt safe going out to enjoy the city. ❤️

The room was very nice, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. At night, though, there were lots of teenagers on my floor shouting, making noise, and kicking doors. There were signs asking people not to disturb others, but it went on all night. The microwave also didn't work during the days I was there, and there wasn't another way to heat food.

For the price, this was a brilliant place to stay. I haven't stayed in many hostels in Austria or Vienna, so I can't compare much, but it was really well organized and run. The lounge had plenty of space for breakfast or food, with cozy couches for relaxing. The staff were friendly and the service was top-notch. When there was a mess, they cleaned it up like a five-star place. I didn't have coins for the coffee machine, and the manager, I believe, just said not to worry and sorted it out right then. Eine schön erfahrung!

The staff who welcomed us were genuinely nice and helpful. After that, the problems started. The kitchen was really dirty, and the microwave was so nasty I was afraid to look inside, let alone warm up food in it. The other issue was the water: after a busy day, I wanted a warm shower, but it was only lukewarm. Hot water seemed to be available only in the morning, if you were lucky. Maybe facilities like this are normal in Vienna at this price, but I found it really overpriced.
