Apartment Inner City

Right in the middle of the city, and that location was fantastic!

The rooms were spacious and pleasant, and the heated floors in the bathroom and sleeping area kept things warm and comfortable. Having a fridge, kitchen, and cooking gear was handy for a longer stay. The neighborhood also felt safe. There’s plenty nearby: the station, sights, supermarkets, and good restaurants are all within walking distance. The key pickup and return are a bit of a nuisance, though, so this may be awkward if you don’t know the area. The front door lock takes some practice. Our towels had a slightly musty smell, though that may have been a one-off.

We had booked the apartment for a long weekend in April, but the COVID-19 situation meant we couldn’t travel. We tried several times to reach the landlords, by email and in person, and they still wouldn’t offer even a partial refund or a voucher. The customer service was extremely poor. Be careful about paying these landlords in advance.

I paid right away for a stay from December 3rd to 6th. When Austria closed because of COVID, I asked for my money back after Austrian airline Austrian canceled all flights. They wouldn’t refund me or let me move the dates. I found the whole thing shameful and dishonest, and my view of the property is very negative.
