Apartment Oper

I booked for next year with free cancellation and needed to cancel, planning to book again. Getting the money back was a mess. First they said I hadn’t paid, so I had to send proof of payment and my bank statement. Then it took more than 50 messages, emails, and calls before they arranged the refund, after weeks of doing nothing and saying they were “investigating.” Don’t book here if you don’t want them holding €1300 of your money for no reason.

Maybe other seasons are different, but I absolutely wouldn’t stay here in summer. They say there’s air conditioning, but it didn’t cool at all. There was even a note saying not to touch it, which made it seem like they knew it wasn’t working. I contacted them because it was so hot and got no response. We stayed four days and our towels weren’t changed once. It was extremely hot in Vienna at the end of June this year, over 30 degrees, and the accommodation made the trip miserable. We couldn’t sleep because of the heat, or come back to rest during the day because it was even hotter inside.

The metro is right outside, in a nice central neighborhood. The apartments were clean and had all the amenities we needed, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
