Apartments Heine

The people were pretty rude, and after we’d spent hours travelling by bus, we had to search for about 20 minutes to find someone who could give us the key. The whole place was horrible. I’d never stay there again. The apartment was dirty, things didn’t work, and the photos didn’t show what it actually looked like. The oven was broken and the kitchen was so poorly put together I could barely call it a kitchen. The floor there was basically a mat over stone. The microwave sparked when we tried to make popcorn and almost burned it. Most of the lights were broken or didn’t work, and the beds were poor quality. For that price, it just wasn’t worth it. The bathroom was awful too. The shower was in a random room connected to the kitchen. After five minutes of showering it flooded, mold was on the shower curtain, and the wall didn’t reach the ceiling, so anyone could hear or see things if they tried. I was worried the mold might make me sick, but I couldn’t go anywhere else.

It’s a shame, because with a proper cleaning this could have been a great place to stay. As it was, the apartment clearly hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests. There was hair on the sheets, dust in the room, and dirty dishes and utensils. They hadn’t restocked soap or toilet supplies either. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The apartment was a little quirky but really cozy, in a peaceful neighborhood and a good location. Four of us rented it for one night without any problems. Matthias helped us check in and was especially great and helpful. A very pleasant stay!

I booked at the last minute, and the people were so kind and accommodating. They were honest, easy to reach, and happy to help with my requests. The apartment’s central location is well connected, and it was a very good deal for the price. We’ll book it again as soon as we can make another trip to Vienna. I definitely recommend it.
