Apollo Hotel Vienna

My confirmed booking was cancelled on the very day I was due to arrive because of “overbooking.” I was left scrambling for somewhere to stay, with last-minute prices much higher, and the compensation offered didn't come close to the difference. It's extremely unprofessional and stressful. If a hotel can't manage its bookings and cancels guests at the last minute, I wouldn't trust a reservation there. I'd strongly advise others to avoid this property. Very disappointing.

I booked in October 2025 for a stay in May 2026. The day before I arrived, they told me overbooking meant they couldn't give me the room I'd reserved, and said they'd move me to an unfamiliar place called ALGA apartments.

The rooms were clean, and the location was great. The hotel also felt very safe. But breakfast had few choices, and cappuccino wasn't covered by the breakfast fee, so you have to buy it. We had booked twin rooms through Booking, but they weren't available. There wasn't a coffee machine as listed either, just a kettle and tea.

The location is quite good, and the rooms are small but comfortable, with lots of useful things. Breakfast doesn't offer much variety. I gave three stars because the breakfast drinks aren't included, so you have to pay extra for them.
