Austria Trend Hotel Bosei

Free parking was a big plus, especially since it's not something you usually find in Vienna. We arrived before check-in, and reception couldn't prepare a room for us yet, but they let us leave the car in the hotel parking lot while we walked around nearby. The room size, cleanliness, facilities, and daily replenishment of complimentary items were all great. The staff were very nice, too. Thanks to everyone who helped make our stay so pleasant.

The rooms were clean and the atmosphere was nice. The hotel is beside a golf course, around 15 minutes by car from the city centre, and Gutheil Schoder Gasse station is roughly a 7-8 minute walk away. Breakfast offers lots of choices, though the menu is the same each day, so it may not suit a longer stay. Still, it wasn't bad.

I travel from Slovenia to Vienna for work 8-10 times a year and had stayed here several times before. Until my last visit in August, I was happy with the new hotel, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, and free parking. Room cleaning had sometimes bothered me a little, but nothing that spoiled the stay. This time I arrived late after several hours of driving, with an early meeting and several hundred more kilometres to drive. I paid for late checkout until 2 p.m. so I could get two extra hours of sleep. At 12:45, someone knocked and woke me, despite the do not disturb sign. When I complained at checkout, the young man just shrugged, without apologizing. I wrote to the hotel through the booking system, asking only for a response and not a refund. Nobody replied. I then contacted management, again just wanting some reaction, and got no answer. Finally, I wrote to the Austria Trend chain head office and asked for a refund. It wasn't much money, but as a customer, especially a regular one, I don't think I deserve to be ignored like this. Still no reply. It's a sad story. For me, this hotel no longer exists. Vienna has many other good hotels, and this one deserves an honest low rating for failing to take responsibility toward its customers. If something goes wrong, be prepared for staff and management not to care about you or your problems.

The room was roomy and quiet, and it had a coffee and tea maker. But we found hair in the bed, the pillows were very uncomfortable, and the bathroom had a strong smell. There was no conditioner, and the loose shower head made water spill onto the bathroom floor.
