The area was pretty nice, but we just didn’t enjoy staying in this apartment. When we were there, August 28-September 1st 2012, it was damp and extremely moldy. The kitchen smelled so strongly that I had to hold my breath to avoid breathing in mold spores. Even dishes from the cupboard reeked of mold, so I had to wash one every time I took it out. Maybe it was a nice place after it was redone in 2009, but that wasn’t our experience.

We spent four days here in winter 2016 and would happily return. The apartments are small, but clean and equipped with what you need. The kitchen is practical and well organized, and the beds are comfortable. They’re a little gem, just steps from the Belvedere and about a 20-minute walk from the city center. The prices are fair, and I recommend them for a visit to Vienna.
