Best Western Plus Hotel Arcadia

The area is fantastic, with lots of shops and restaurants, a short walk from the Prater and close to two train stops. Staff were friendly, and there was coffee and tea in the room. But getting comfortable was difficult. The mattress was lumpy, the walls were so thin I could hear everything, and housekeeping started vacuuming the hallways from 7am. The shower was directly opposite the bed in the same room, which felt a bit odd. It was swelteringly hot; turning off the radiators and opening the windows brought in fresh, cold air, but with the air conditioning off for winter it wasn't easy to get a comfortable temperature.

The room was much smaller than I expected, and I thought I'd booked a queen-size bed but got a small single instead. That was disappointing for comfort. Still, it was good value for the money, and the staff at reception and around the hotel were exceptionally friendly and ready to help. The place was clean and tidy, and my room was well maintained with complimentary tea and coffee. Breakfast had a very good range for different tastes and dietary needs. The location was convenient for getting to the city center and public transportation. A bigger room and better bed options would make the stay much better.

A cozy, very nice hotel in a calm and safe area, even for walking around at night. The U1 tube is a pleasant seven-minute walk away. My room was clean, big enough, and refreshed daily on time. The staff were kind and attentive. Fully recommended!

It's handy having a metro stop close by, and I found the luggage storage useful. Breakfast had all the usual options. The room was a little unusual because the shower is in the room, and the walls are so thin I could hear every conversation from people passing my door.
