Some of the furniture is pretty worn, and the kitchen is very poorly equipped. There were no pots or pans, and no way to make coffee beyond maybe instant. The apartment also needed a serious clean, including the windows, doors, light switches, curtains, and cupboards. It hadn't been cleaned before we arrived, and even dishes in the cupboards were dirty. Someone came the next day after we complained, but it still needed a thorough cleaning.

We paid 450 euros for two nights and got a dirty apartment with too little toilet paper and shower gel. We booked through Airbnb, but the apartment wasn't the one we had seen, and it wasn't even in the right district. They later said they might provide an apartment in a similar category instead of the one shown online. We picked that place because of its location near the train station, marked with a blue cross. The red circle showed where we ended up, while the green circle was the advertised location. I reported the problem on Saturday morning. They said a cleaner would come and restock things, but nobody showed up. By nine that night everything nearby was closed, so we had to get toilet paper from McDonald's like homeless people. I never thought this could happen in Vienna. Every car has four wheels, but we ordered something like a Ford and got a Dacia. The price for what we got was a big zero, and I wouldn't recommend the company to anyone. Update: by the time we got home, we heard the host was refunding 50 percent after Airbnb headquarters got involved. That doesn't change the main point. I still don't recommend them.
