The service and facilities were shocking. The heating was faulty, the TV was broken with no service, and although I reported it, it was never fixed during our whole week there. There was no kettle, and we weren’t given enough linen or toilet paper. There was no privacy in the apartment, with no doors separating the bedroom from the living room. In fact, it had no separate bedrooms at all, just one room with open partitions, despite them telling us it had two separate bedrooms. The second “bed” was a very bad sleeper couch, and there was no proper furniture to relax on because it was being used as a bed, just hard chairs for seating. I wrote to them asking for an explanation and comment. All I got back was a “we don’t care, we have your money, ha ha” reply.

It’s a clean, comfortable apartment at a good price, with a great location and lots of transport and services close by. Just keep in mind that it isn’t a hotel, so check-in is remote, though it was easy and responsive.

The location is handy for catching trams into the city, but I’d suggest eating out. There was no iron, even though an ironing board was provided, and the manager said he needed a permit to install an iron or microwave. When my wife asked why they had an ironing board, he had no answer. I joked that maybe it was for surfing down the Danube. We only got one set of keys, the settee was too hard to sit on, and there wasn’t enough room to hang clothes on the coat hangers.

The rooms were clean and pleasant, and the train station for the airport is just a few steps away. The building and entrance could use some work.

A comfortable, cozy apartment. I’d definitely recommend it.
