City Pension Stephansplatz I Self Check In

I had a reservation with number 5663232239 for a five-night stay with my spouse, starting February 10, the day our flight to Vienna was scheduled. We were committed to the trip and had arranged museum visits, concerts, transport tickets and SIM cards in advance. On the night of February 9, we came down with a serious flu infection. When we realized we couldn't travel, we cancelled our flight that night and immediately informed the hotel by email and other channels about the unexpected medical situation. We hoped they might show some understanding or flexibility in those exceptional circumstances. Given the hotel's reputation for service and hospitality, we were disappointed that no support was offered. We still appreciate its overall quality and reputation, and hope this feedback encourages more compassionate handling of similar situations in future.

Pension City was lovely, and we'd absolutely stay there again if we returned to the city. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable and the shower hot. The staff were wonderful whenever we needed anything, and even left a cute note when we arrived. There are plenty of bars and restaurants close by, yet the area was quiet and comfortable. Nearly everything we'd want to see or do was within walking distance, and the tram stop was about a five-minute walk. Check-in was easy, with clear instructions. Once the app is on your phone, you can switch housekeeping off and back on, and contact staff directly with questions or requests. Danke to everyone at Pension City!

The location is ideal, right in the center, but still peaceful and away from traffic. Check-in uses codes, yet the friendly cleaning lady and the hospitality made the service feel personal. Highly recommended.
