ECA Rooftop Live - Private Rooms & Serviced Apartments

Absolutely the best!

The price and location were fine, but ants in the room were a problem. They had ant traps, so this probably wasn’t the first time. Getting in touch with the owner was extremely hard and tedious. After a lot of back and forth, we agreed we could pay cash on the last day. Even so, we kept getting messages asking when we would finally transfer the money. It was really annoying. We won’t book here again or recommend it to anyone.

The apartment didn’t match its description, and there was no Wi-Fi. When I asked why that hadn’t been mentioned during booking, I got no answer. They only offered to move me to a smaller room, which also had no Wi-Fi. Communication with staff was terrible. I booked through Booking.com, and the owner removed the option to add a review.

We had an email confirmation for two rooms for two families, each with a child, but on arrival there was just one room and mattresses on the floor for all six of us. We didn't stay and had to find another hotel, while the charge for both rooms was still taken. There was nobody to meet us or speak with, only building and apartment access codes and another code for the room key. Neither phone number helped: one didn't exist and the other went to voicemail. He still hadn't answered after four days. The room itself had nothing but a small wardrobe and mattresses, no table or TV. We later learned the apartment has four rooms and who knows how many beds, but only one toilet and one wardrobe, plus two bathrooms, one with a shower and sink and the other with two sinks and a bathtub. Be careful, this felt like a charlatan.
