It’s a practical place to stay, clean, comfortable, and safe, and it won’t wreck your budget. The hotel is in a great spot for public transport. I’m English and can feel self-conscious about not speaking many languages, but the staff were all friendly and happy to speak English. The young man at reception was especially personable and helpful. He knew the city well and suggested places to shop, as well as how best to reach nearby Bratislava by public transport.

The room was thoughtfully laid out and comfortable, and I slept really well. The receptionist was incredibly friendly, knew the city well, and was happy to share recommendations. It’s also well placed for exploring Vienna on foot or by bus.

The room was great and everything else was fine. There was a faint cigar smell in the bathroom, which I reported at reception. They said room service would deal with it the next morning, but nobody came then. Someone only checked around 5 or 6 pm to ask if I needed anything.

The people at the desk were welcoming and accommodating, and being so close to transport was a real plus. The room was standard but had the basics, including a heater, small fridge, and plenty of storage. The price depends on the time of year.

10/10
The room cleaning was excellent, better than at some five-star hotels I’ve stayed in. Breakfast had a decent selection, though dirty tables and cutlery were disappointing and affected the impression. We were satisfied overall and would gladly return. A special thanks to Mr. Honza, the night receptionist. He was friendly and easy to talk to. Although he seemed new, he handled things very professionally, and made our late-night arrival much more pleasant. We felt genuinely welcome.
