For the price, this place is totally okay. It's in a good location with a nice view, and the small room I got was cozy, clean and really warm. The people running it are new and working their ...... to give good service, so if you want something fancy, raise your budget or lower your standards. Show them some support! There are things they could improve. I found the key boxes hard to open, especially with long nails, and the shower situation needs work. Still, don't avoid the place, just enjoy it for what it is.

All I needed was somewhere to rest and wash after my flight, before a 30-hour trip home. Instead, I wasted the time and money. The building entrance was awful, though I know that might not be the owners' fault, so I held my breath and went on. Inside the room I was in shock. Everything looked disgusting. The walls were dirty with stains and dust, and the sheets had yellow and brown marks. I don't want to guess what they were. At first I thought there were no sheets at all. I messaged the administrator to ask about bed linen, and got the reply, “Isn’t it there already?” So the stained sheets were apparently meant to be the bedding. I can't even tell if they had ever been washed. I couldn't sleep on them. I wanted to leave right away, but it was 1 am and my train was at 7, so I just needed somewhere to lie down for six hours. I attached photos of how I managed. I paid for this, and even if it had been free, I wouldn't have stayed. This was the most horrible experience of my life. I've been to more than 20 countries and stayed in hostels, dormitories, hotels and apartments, but I've never seen living conditions this bad anywhere. I wish I'd paid whatever it took to sleep on clean sheets, have a warm shower and travel calmly in the morning. If money was the issue, I should have stayed at the airport or train station. Believe me, that would've been just as good, maybe better. If you value your health, sanity or dignity, avoid this place.

This is an overpriced hostel. For the same price, a low-budget hotel can offer much more comfort, so that's what we chose after one night here. The hotel room was exceptionally clean, in a nice, safe neighborhood, with a private bathroom and bathtub, kitchen and balcony, plus lovely staff. We were travelling with a child, and the location here didn't seem safe at all. We couldn't sleep because every little movement made noise: beds, doors and floors all squeaked. We also didn't realize the bathroom was shared. The photos don't make that clear, and the fact is somewhat buried near the end of the long Booking.com description. Nearly €100 a night for two adults and a child also didn't suggest such poor accommodation. We cancelled after that first night. The seven-night stay had been paid upfront, and the property refunded less than a third. They initially refused to cancel and give a partial refund, so we contacted Booking.com support, who cancelled for us and got back roughly what the property would charge for two nights. I suppose that's fair enough since it was a non-refundable booking, and we hadn't read the full description. If you're travelling with children or don't want to share a bathroom with strangers, consider somewhere else.

We had trouble sleeping because the place gets very warm. Even with the windows open and fan on, it was still hot. It was really clean and tastefully decorated, and the owners were friendly and kind, though they don't speak much English, so we could only communicate by text. The location is great, with a metro and tram nearby, and under 20 minutes to the center.

The man who runs the place was very friendly and made me feel at home. It's close to both the train station and metro, clean, and has all the services you'd need at a fair price. I really recommend it.
