I arrived in the middle of the night expecting self check-in, but the code they sent didn’t work. I had to stay on the phone with them at 1 am to get in. Then I opened the room and was hit by a strong pee smell. It seemed to come from the shower, where I found mold. I was so disgusted that I left straight away and told them what I’d found. They refused to give me a full refund without any valid reason. Be careful with this place. I feel scammed. Don’t stay here, find somewhere else. It’ll be 100 percent cleaner than the place they call a “room.”

The neighborhood is lovely, welcoming, and attractive, and getting in was easy with the keys ready to collect. Inside, the apartment was spacious, very clean, and furnished with great taste. We had a great stay and would gladly return.

I couldn’t leave my bags when I arrived because there’s no reception desk, something the booking section had hidden as if they wanted to mislead guests. I only learned how this setup worked after a long Uber ride, several unhelpful calls including one with the general manager, and a wait outside in the cold. The whole thing showed a shocking lack of competence and basic customer service. A refund barely makes up for the hassle and frustration. I’d give negative stars if I could. Avoid this place at all costs.

Such a distinctive room, in one of the best locations you could ask for in Vienna. A stellar stay. Defo coming back.
