I was born there, so I know the area as a local. The property is a romantic spot in an inner courtyard, and I could photograph it there, though I couldn't see inside the room because it was occupied. The landlady and owner was very friendly to talk with. I can recommend the place to business partners and friends from home or abroad, but I can't judge the rooms or service. There's plenty going on in the daytime, while the Grinzing vineyards are quiet. Grinzing's facilities are a few minutes' walk away. Bus 38a takes only two stops, and from there tram 38 gets to Schottentor, the main university, in about 20 minutes.

Everything was clean, and the rooms had practical furnishings, a shower, and a toilet. Each one also had a cozy terrace. The owners were very friendly and made the place feel personal. It's a lovely Vienna bed and breakfast in a quiet spot with good transport connections.

For €10 a day, the parking was actually quite good. The room was small but okay, except for the ants. Breakfast felt very skimpy for €9 each: one roll, butter, jam, and a cup of coffee.

We stayed from June 24th to 27th, 2018 and would happily return. The staff were welcoming and always up for a chat, and our room was very clean. Breakfast was excellent, including homemade apricot cake. Best regards, W. & M. Franz
