We found the hotel quiet and safe, tucked into a mostly residential area with a few small restaurants, a pharmacy, and a grocery store within a short walk. The nearest U-Bahn is around a 10-12 minute walk, which felt like a bit much after a full day on foot, but it was manageable. The city center is only a few stops away. The hotel sits on a narrow one-way street, though loading and unloading our bags turned out fine. Service was a real strength. Staff responded quickly to our requests, arranged breakfast boxes to go, and booked a last-minute day tour after our earlier tour fell through. They also sell public transport tickets at reception. Afternoon tea and cakes were a lovely welcome, and the breakfast buffet was phenomenal, with attentive service for custom coffees. Our standard room was small and had no notable view, but it was quiet, cute, and laid out efficiently. The tub was unusually narrow, and I hurt myself on the faucet while getting out. I was surprised there wasn’t a bidet in a nicer Austrian hotel. Otherwise, having both a tub and shower was convenient, and the lighting and heated towel racks were good. Our iron initially didn’t work properly. The door needed a hard pull to close and lock, and we accidentally left it ajar one night. Room service had a limited, somewhat eclectic menu. Those were our only real critiques. For the money, it was great value, and the attentive staff worked hard to make sure we had a good stay. The distance to transit is my one hesitation, but I’d gladly return to this hidden gem.

After staying in 10-12 major European countries, we’d call this the best hotel we’ve experienced in Europe, and great value for money. We’ll choose it again if we return to Vienna. The included breakfast was tasty and had plenty of variety. Staff at breakfast and reception were very friendly. When we left for the airport, the receptionist even loaded my luggage into the van. He’d also fixed an electrical problem in our room within 10 minutes of us reporting it. The hotel is on a quiet street, yet the city center is about a 15-minute walk away, with a few decent restaurants nearby too. They serve free tea and pastries daily from around 2 or 3pm until 6pm, and the pastries were delicious. Strongly recommend it in Vienna.

The service was very good, and the hotel is in a quiet spot that’s still close to the city center and public transport. We didn’t have much else to complain about, but the rooms aren’t soundproof, so noise from neighbors’ bathrooms carries through. There’s also a gap between the floor and both the entrance door and bathroom door. Breakfast could use improvement. I liked that they use local and organic ingredients, though there weren’t many options.

Staff were polite throughout, and the afternoon tea and biscuits were a nice extra. Breakfast was good, with some à la carte choices, and the rooms had some of the best soundproofing I’ve come across lately. It’s a quiet place but still an easy walk to the main sights. For a similar price, I liked it much more than the area’s “historical” hotels.
