Hotel Deutschmeister

A decent budget option with good rooms and beds, plus a basic bathroom. It's on the edge of the city centre. Breakfast is available for 14€. There is a small lot with space for five cars, but you can't reserve a spot, and parking costs 25€ a day.

Our youngest family member became ill before the trip. We contacted the hotel 16 hours before arrival, short of the 24 hours in its cancellation policy, and asked if we could reschedule. We were willing to pay the first night's cancellation fee if we arrived late. The staff gave reasons for refusing that we felt were false, even though they could have offered a solution and avoided costs on their side. We found their response dishonest and greedy. There are better, more affordable hotels nearby, so try to avoid this one if you can. Read the negative Google reviews before booking.

We came back at 6 pm after leaving the hotel at 11 am on our last day, and nobody had cleaned our rooms. The stay cost us a lot, and we got no value for money.

I liked the antique feel, and for the price it was definitely worth it. Service was great and the location was very convenient. Breakfast was average, and the room was okay, though a few essentials were missing.
