Hahn Hotel Vienna City

The room was nice, but the bathroom had no divider from the bedroom, so you could see everything. Maybe that works for a couple, but I was travelling with friends and the rest of us had to leave whenever someone wanted a shower. Otherwise it's a cozy, quiet hotel, with comfy lobby seats, a bar for drinks and snacks, and a nice breakfast. The staff were very friendly and eager to help. There's an elevator, and the entrance is locked at night. Only guests can get in with their room keys, which made me feel safe in Vienna, even though I don't think the city is particularly dangerous. The downsides: there aren't nice places to run nearby, and reception is only staffed during the day, not 24 hours.

Quite good. My flight was canceled, and I needed a room for 2 nights. Overnight, it took just one hour to get from the airport to the key pickup at the hotel's entrance door.

There was no refrigerator in the room, and no water boiler, tea, or coffee either. Even worse, there was just one trash can, in the bathroom, and no landline phone. If you needed something, you had to go to reception. There was only one iron, and you couldn't take it to your room, so you had to go downstairs and iron in the aisle. The manager and staff were totally unfriendly, which made the stay worse. I had a hard time convincing them to change my room because the WiFi signal wasn't available there. The replacement room had a broken bathroom ventilation fan. If you need anything from them, you have to beg.

We made a city trip and this is a good hotel for that. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. There's a little bar on the ground floor, but it has no atmosphere and isn't cozy. There's no restaurant in the hotel, but an excellent one 200 metres away where we ate very well. Breakfast was very good too. It costs 11 euro, but it's worth it. When we stayed in sept 2018, construction was going on behind the hotel. The builders started at 6:15 on work days and woke us up, though they didn't work at all over the weekend. Ask for a room at the front when booking and you won't be bothered by it.
