Hotel & Apartments Klimt

I found Klimt while looking for a hotel near work. It was clean, had everything I needed, and communication was quick. Breakfast was great and it was quiet. Tram 49 and U4 are close, making it about 30 minutes to the city center.

Some of the reception staff were rude. The cleaner also refused to clean the whole apartment, saying I was only using one room instead of getting everything organised. There were broken things in the rooms too.

The breakfast was just okay. Every day there were only a few sad-looking tangerines and apples, sometimes the vegetables weren't fresh, and the milk was always cold. We would have liked warm cocoa now and then, and there was nothing available to warm the baby's food. The room itself was a reasonable size, but had no balcony, which would have been nice. It was winter and already far too warm inside, so I can't imagine how it is in summer. The tiny old lift was another problem with a pram: we had to squeeze it in, then only one person could fit with the baby, while everyone else waited for another trip. Service was very unfriendly. The room was spotless on the first day, but after that we repeatedly asked for cleaning and got nowhere. Staff either gave us attitude or rolled their eyes. We kept coming back to dirty towels and a dirty bathroom, even though my kids showered morning and evening. Clean towels and a clean room shouldn't be too much to ask. They should say on their website if they only clean rooms after guests leave. When we asked for clean glasses, we were told no one had ever asked for that before. Ours were dirty with juice and milk, and we had kids, yet apparently we were meant to use them all week. There was no kitchen in our room. We also found the location too far from the city center. I wouldn't stay here again.

The rooms were modern and the beds really comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had plenty of tasty options. It was quiet at night and well located: around 10 minutes by bus to the zoo and 30 minutes by tram to the city center. I'd happily stay here again, 10/10.
