The reception experience was awful. An old man there ignored us while setting up tables. When we spoke up, he yelled aggressively for us to “learn to wait,” insulted us and told us to cancel and leave. His behaviour terrified my 2.5-year-old son. He spoke in an incomprehensible, hostile accent and nearly threw the keys at our faces. He wouldn't show us our room or explain where it was, so we had to find it ourselves. We came on a previous recommendation, but the management seems to have changed in a disastrous way. This place was horrific, avoid it at all costs. The safety setup was also a complete scandal. The hotel starts on the building's first floor, and the key to the main entrance is exactly the same as the key to your room. Every guest has that same key, so any guest can unlock your room at any time, including while you're sleeping or out. Your belongings aren't secure. This violates basic hospitality security standards. Do not stay here!

We felt safe the whole time, and the reception staff made us feel very welcome with their warm, friendly manner. Our room was very clean, and breakfast was quite good. The location was excellent too, with many places within walking distance and the metro station very close. Great value for money.

We picked this hotel for its location for our special Valentine's weekend in Vienna in 2026. George welcomed us so warmly when we arrived, and everyone at the hotel looked after us well. The room was basic but very clean, the bed was really comfortable, and it was cleaned perfectly every day. Breakfast was continental, with plenty of choice, and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

We had a good time here. We chose the hotel almost entirely for its location, but it turned out quite well in other ways too. It's a bed-and-breakfast with just a few rooms spread over two floors of a multi-story building, run by an elderly couple. The rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious for the price range. We had breakfast during our three-night stay. It was fine, but I could see getting bored of it on a longer visit. There are plenty of cafés nearby if you want more choice. Don't expect a fitness center, pool or room service, whatever the nameplate says about stars. The elevator is tiny, so avoid bringing large luggage. Parking is in the garage in the building in front; pay through the hotel for the discounted rate rather than directly at the garage.

The rooms were spacious, the breakfast delicious and the staff lovely. Right in the center of everything, yet quiet and comfortable. What a fantastic hotel!
