Hotel Schani UNO City

The rooms were cozy and clean, and we were especially glad the mattresses were firm. There’s no fridge, though we didn’t need one. We asked for spoons and forks, and they brought them right away. The hotel is in a quiet business district, just across from the metro, so it was convenient to get around and took only 10 minutes to reach the city center. Check-in is self-service on a tablet, where you fill in your details and get your room card. At checkout, you just drop the card in a box. We were very happy with our stay.

The bar was excellent and the drinks top notch. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Using the app for check-in and checkout, along with digital room keys, made everything smooth and easy. I had a great stay and would happily return.

I slept well, the room was modern and clean, and it was quiet. I didn’t really interact with staff because check-in was self-service. The hotel is outside Vienna, but right across from the U1 metro line, so it’s only 10 minutes to the city centre.

We liked being just outside the city centre, in a familiar business district and close to the train station, only two stops from Prater. The lobby and breakfast space work as a welcoming place to meet colleagues or other people, and the hotel still feels family friendly without making solo or couples' stays awkward. It was my first Schani hotel, and the modern, warm facilities and digital approach surprised me in a good way. You can even go paperless from start to finish and unlock your room with your phone. The rooms have the essentials, with less common things like an iron available on request.
