We could walk everywhere and didn't need a car, thanks to the fantastic location. My husband and I stayed two nights around Christmas and loved it. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, and the lobby was beautiful and a lovely place to sit with a drink. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Our room looked out over St. Peter’s Church, an incredible view that made the stay extra special. Hotel Wandl is right in the heart of Vienna, within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it.

My single room was the only one left during Christmas, and it had some noise problems. The doors weren't well insulated, moved and rattled in drafts from other rooms, and let in a lot of corridor noise. People talking and shutting their doors made loud bangs. The staff were attentive and helpful, and breakfast was amazing, with everything you might need. The location is hard to beat.

The place was very quiet and spotlessly clean, with great service and an excellent breakfast. The bedroom was comfortable, if a little characterless. The location is great, and who'd take the lift instead of the lovely staircase?

Getting around Vienna was easy from this spot near the city center, and breakfast was nice. The staff were very friendly too. Our superior double room was clean and comfortable for our family with two kids. The drawback was the old TV: I couldn't use any platform to watch a movie, series, or news in a language other than German. I'd recommend it if being close to the main sights matters to you.
