I stayed at the Ibis Hotel in February 2026 and had no complaints. The room was in good condition, clean, quiet, and comfortable, and I slept very well. Check-in was quick, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. There was complimentary water and coffee in the basement, which was a nice extra. I’d definitely stay here again.

After a long flight from South Africa with no sleep, I arrived very early, before official check-in, and needed to freshen up before a client meeting. Darren (I think that was his name) at reception made a big difference. He arranged toothpaste and a toothbrush, let me use a private bathroom, and found a room where I could leave my luggage safely. He was kind, calm, and professional, and turned a stressful morning into a great start to my stay. If I remember correctly, Darren is from Bosnia. He really showed outstanding hospitality.

The location is excellent and very convenient, and the room was clean. The hotel itself is good, but my experience with the staff brought the stay down. The night receptionist was quite rude when I asked for a bottle of water. I mentioned it to another receptionist at checkout, but got no apology or acknowledgment, which was frustrating. I can see why I hadn’t picked this hotel before. An average stay.

The room was comfortable and reasonable, and the housekeeping was excellent every day. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay pleasant. I stayed from 03-06 February, and found it good value for money. For a longer visit, a hot water kettle and mini fridge would make things more convenient.

The staff were really kind and friendly, and they tried to help find the wallet I lost in my room. They eventually found it! It was a very special watch my father gave me as a coming-of-age gift, so I’m grateful for their support. I’m planning to come back to Vienna for an opera and will stay here again.
