The entrance was hard to find, and getting inside wasn't easy either. I arrived expecting the hotel described in so many glowing reviews as a place full of Viennese history, but the reality was a letdown. It looked much smaller than the photos and seemed almost at ground level.

The food was excellent, and the management and staff were warm and helpful. It feels like a good fit whether you're in Vienna for work or a holiday and want some local history around you. I'd happily stay again.

Tidy and clean, and the breakfast tastes good. The Wi-Fi is slow, though. Those same points came to mind twice: good breakfast, sluggish Wi-Fi, clean surroundings.
