Le Méridien Wien

The You Bar was a nice place to have drinks and light snacks in the evening, and staff were excellent throughout. Most major sights were around a 15-20 minute walk away. Our suite was roomy and comfortable, especially after the upgrade, and the rooms are large by European standards. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had. The buffet had pastries, fruit, bacon, sausage and hash browns, plus eggs cooked to order. I contacted the hotel ahead of time as a Marriott Titanium Elite member, and they arranged complimentary breakfast for my husband and me as well as the couple traveling with us. There were a few drawbacks. Our room got very hot in winter, and the bathroom could use more hooks or towel bars. We could clearly hear children in the neighboring suite through the connecting door. The hotel called their room after we complained, but the noise continued. Luckily the connecting door was in the sitting room, not the bedroom. Even so, we had a wonderful stay and would happily come back.

We felt very welcome with our rather large dog, and we’re grateful to the whole team for an unforgettable stay. Everyone, from the front desk and kitchen to service and cleaning, was polite, friendly and professional. The food was excellent and high quality. Thanks to all of you. Hopefully we’ll be back. We had a lovely three-night family stay at Le Méridien Vienna while marking our 36th wedding anniversary. A complimentary gift was waiting in our spacious, nicely appointed room, which made the occasion feel even more special. The room was elegant and comfortable, with a large bathroom that had both a bathtub and a separate shower. The staff’s hospitality stood out throughout our visit. Everyone was attentive, friendly and professional. Pavol, our waiter in the bar, gave exceptional service and suggested places to visit in Prague, our next destination. We’re also thankful to the receptionist who greeted us when we arrived. We don’t remember her name, but her kindness and professionalism made a lasting impression. We felt well cared for from the moment we arrived and would gladly return to Vienna. We’d recommend Le Méridien Vienna to anyone looking for a great city stay.

We changed our plans at the last minute and spent three days in Vienna. The hotel was a great choice, with a fantastic location by the Mozart statue and just a couple of blocks from the opera house and art museum. Every employee we met was wonderful, and the breakfast buffet was great. Our room was comfortable, with blackout curtains for anyone wanting to sleep late. There was one problem: the room next door had an internal connecting door, and at 9 PM a guest was on a speakerphone business call that sounded like he was in our room. We called the front desk and they sorted it out. It’s a beautiful hotel in a great spot, with lovely people and a fair price. We’d definitely return.
