The light-filled rooms and elegant conservatory at Palais Coburg Residenz Vienna made it a dream setting for us as wedding photographers. We had the pleasure of photographing a wedding there, and the refined details and architecture made every shot feel special. Even the majestic palace façade gives you goosebumps. It’s a venue full of history, luxury, and romance, perfect for couples dreaming of an unforgettable, high-end wedding in the heart of Vienna.

We left after just one cocktail, which unfortunately wasn't impressive either. The Louise platter cost €35 and felt like a sad girl dinner, with ordinary tomatoes and cheese that seemed no better than what you'd get at Penny Markt. We came for the sundowner event, not the hotel. It started at 17:30 and we arrived at 18:00, but nearly all the seating was taken, with just two or three bench spots left. A €25 entry ticket included a glass of champagne, so you'd expect to find a seat.

We first came in for drinks, then found a dinner table at Clementine im Glashaus on Saturday. That beautiful conservatory turned the evening into one of the highlights of our Vienna trip. Nico, the Bar Manager, was warm, friendly, and knew his wines. His recommendations and thoughtful hospitality made us feel so welcome. The restaurants and bars are open and well worth visiting while the hotel rooms are under renovation. Thanks to Nico and the whole team for a memorable night.

The wine cellar was a standout, with a huge selection that paired beautifully with the food. The kitchen served refined, inventive dishes, and the service felt carefully considered at every turn. Palais Coburg combines historic grandeur with modern luxury, creating a sophisticated atmosphere right in the heart of Vienna. A must-visit for anyone after a luxurious experience.

I've photographed weddings at Palais Coburg several times, and every visit has been a great experience. The food is amazing, the setting is fantastic, and the staff are friendly while staying professional. Andras and Lili from Everly Pictures. If you want a special wedding venue in Vienna, I'd highly recommend it.
