Pension Central - Self Check-in

We slept really well because it was so quiet, and the location was perfect for walking to most of the main attractions. The hotel was tidy and very clean, with a small fridge and coffee machine that came in handy. They welcomed us with delicious sweets, too. There was a mix-up with the access code after our room was switched at the last minute, but the staff were kind, patient and understanding, and we sorted it out right away. I really recommend staying here.

The room at Pension Central was decent, and check-in was straightforward, but I left disappointed. The hotel had switched off the air conditioning under its “seasonality” policy, which would have been good to know clearly when booking. I had to sleep with the windows open, and the street was so loud that I could barely sleep until 3:15 am. Keeping the AC on would let guests close the windows and rest. I contacted them through the travel agency about the problem. They confirmed they got my message, but gave no answer or solution before I left. For the price, the lost sleep and headaches weren't worth it, and I strongly recommend staying elsewhere in Vienna. I do have mixed feelings: the staff were kind and opened the safe the night before when I couldn't get it open before my early departure.

We felt really safe, and the place was great. The service was excellent too, with Nicole helping us with our luggage.

The staff were friendly and helpful, always answering our questions and making sure we had what we needed. The room was stylish and comfortable, and the location was hard to beat, close to the main sights, public transport and plenty of good restaurants. Everything went smoothly from check-in through check-out. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.
