6/10
The location was the best part. The hotel sits right on a tram route, and I also liked walking into the city center. For a visit to Vienna, that made the stay worthwhile. My room was small but fine for one person, and it was made up daily. The staff were nice, and the bathroom was a little dated but perfectly usable. The WiFi was awful, the door was difficult to close, and although I spotted several outlets, only one was accessible. There was air conditioning, but it was hard to operate. I hadn’t set it up properly on the first evening, so the room got hot. Otherwise the hotel was about as mediocre as I expected.

2/10
It was disappointing how little communication there was when we had to cancel our Vienna reservation because of a sudden health issue before the trip. We contacted the host several times to explain, but got no reply. After cancelling, our messages were ignored completely. We lost the money, and the response felt unkind and very unprofessional.

The rooms were clean and OK, though this felt more like a pension than a hotel. It’s on the second floor, and the lift was out of order. There is some underground parking at the hotel, but it’s limited. They also have arrangements with nearby parking garages.

4/10
The staff were friendly, and breakfast was OK. The rest was pretty mediocre: awful WiFi, and I had to shift the bed to reach an outlet. The room doors were hard to close. If you leave luggage, it’s out in the open.

10/10
The location makes getting around simple. Tram 43 and 44 stop almost outside and take you to the main area, where you can connect to buses, trams, and the underground. The staff were helpful and friendly, the service was wonderful, and breakfast was good value. The hotel is rated 4 stars. My room was comfortable and a good size, especially for one person, and it had a small fridge for drinks. I highly recommend it, particularly if you want to be near the city centre.
