After a long day of sightseeing in autumn, it was comfortable to come back to the room. The owners are kind and helpful, and it’s a good fit for couples visiting Vienna to see the sights at a reasonable price.

The town is close by on foot from this spot on the upper side of town, and the trains are only a five-minute walk away.

An unpleasant stay. There’s no cooling system in the rooms during summer, and people outside were screaming while the windows were wide open.

Our room was cleaned with our belongings moved around, including our toiletries. I don’t want a stranger handling my things, especially my toothbrush. At check-in they also had us write personal details, including our address, birthdate, and passport number, in a ledger that they left unsecured on the counter for anyone to look through. With identity theft always a concern, I made my page disappear because I wasn’t comfortable leaving all that information accessible. There was a costly parking problem, too. The address on our booking site and Google maps led us to a school, not a hotel. When I called the listed number, they gave me a new address about a block away and said they had moved. At check-in they asked if we needed parking. We explained we’d have the car just Saturday night and return it Sunday morning. They said weekend parking was free. On Sunday there was a parking ticket on our car. The same people then said we needed a permit and denied telling us parking was free. That lie cost us a lot of time and money. Horrid stay. Do NOT recommend.
