Pension Tennisweber

Breakfast had something for everyone, and the service was excellent. They even changed the sheets after one night, and quickly handled the smallest issue. We got plenty of rest despite the short visit. The rooms were very clean, well maintained, and large, with a mezzanine and everything we needed. The hotel sits in a quiet spot on the edge of Vienna’s center, about 20 minutes from downtown. It’s a good fit if you want a break from everyday city noise. We highly recommend the hotel, the area, and Vienna.

The hotel was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t speak German. The afternoon and night receptionists didn’t seem willing to listen or understand, and were very rude. Sandra on the morning shift was different: very nice and polite. The hotel deserves less than my rating, but Sandra gets 10 stars. Thank you, Sandra.

The hotel is reasonably priced and close to the airport, but the staff made this one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. The women working there don’t speak English and didn’t seem willing to hear us or understand what we needed. I speak a little German and tried explaining that the Wi-Fi wasn’t working, but they wouldn’t respond. I really appreciated Sandra, who was very nice. Unfortunately she wasn’t there all the time, so we had to deal with the other women.

I booked with no prepayment and free cancellation, as stated in the confirmation email. I cancelled a few weeks before the booking date, but the hotel still charged my card without permission or any notice. They say there were technical problems in their system and the cancellation wasn’t processed, but they never contacted me to clear that up. I cancelled in time, didn’t stay there, and they still won’t refund the charge. I don’t recommend this hotel. The service was poor and they showed no concern for customers.
