We were lucky to get upgraded to a very large suite. Sarah at Reception looked after us so well at the front desk. The hotel will be closed from Dec31 for two years for a complete rebuild, though.

The outside looks nice, and the staff are helpful and good at dealing with complaints. But it needs redecorating to live up to a five-star rating. The free minibar amounted to a pepsi, water, oj, and one beer. While I was at reception for just a few minutes, quite a few people were complaining.

It's a lovely building in a central spot, and you can walk quickly to anywhere. The hotel is pricey but good quality. I'd skip the breakfast at 27EUs and parking at 40+ EUs per day.

We loved our stay and would come back. The hotel is very nice and close to everything, with good rooms and friendly, well-trained staff.

A charming old building with small rooms and a great location. There's a decent little gym in the attic, plus a semi-secret adjoining rooftop hangout spot.
