The room was chilly enough that I slept in a sweater under two blankets. The bathroom radiator was off, and the bedroom one only worked now and then, so it didn’t heat the room properly. Showering was uncomfortable too, since the bathroom water kept jumping between cold and hot, and I had to find a tolerable temperature and hurry before it changed. The building is beautiful and full of character, and that historic elevator is a real treat. Its central location also makes it easy to walk everywhere. The place has a lot going for it, but those comfort problems affected my stay.

We booked the superior suite, and the rooms were really spacious and bright. There are two supermarkets nearby, and the large kitchen is suitable for cooking. The trouble was the shower pressure, which made it hard to shower and wash my hair.

We visited in July 2025 and had absolutely nothing negative to say. The building’s interior is exceptionally done, with a state of the art elevator. The location is great, within walking distance of everything in the center. The room and surrounding area had everything we needed, and it was very clean. We also got great coffee and organic teas daily. Staff were polite and quick to respond.

We stayed in the largest apartment the hotel offers, and it was very spacious and comfortable. It had two bedrooms, the main one with a queen bed and the smaller one with two separate beds, plus two toilets and two showers, with another two baths. There was also a small, nice kitchen equipped with everything we needed. The apartment was very clean, and the staff were lovely and helpful. Despite being right in the middle of Vienna center, in the first square, it was very quiet. We’d love to come back if we get the chance.

The location was very good for exploring Vienna, but the stay fell short elsewhere. The rooms felt dated, and our three-person room was cramped, with the sofa bed blocking the doorway. The quality didn’t feel very high. Service was bad: the male receptionist was rude and didn’t seem interested in helping us. Breakfast meant walking five minutes to a nearby cafeteria, where it was very basic and not good. You’re better off going to one of the many better cafes nearby.
