Rosewood Vienna

Avoid this hotel. We stayed February 13-15, 2026, and despite written confirmation of our request for a quiet room on a higher floor, we were put on a low floor facing the noisy main street. We had called several times before check-in. Staff communicated only by phone and were very unfriendly. The room was poorly cleaned: black female hair on the towels and floor, and some towels were dirty. Getting the car from the garage through the concierge was awful too, requiring 2-3 calls to reception. One of Vienna’s worst five-star hotels.

Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, even compared with the Ritz Carlton Vienna, and the rooftop restaurant was fantastic. The hotel sits in the heart of the city, with historic streets, famous luxury boutiques, and excellent restaurants right outside. The Rosewood team is outstanding, especially the concierge, whose attention to detail goes above and beyond. Our travel agent, Leonie Simon, was wonderful, attentive, and extremely helpful throughout the stay. We’ll choose Rosewood again next time.

That dead Dyson in the guest shower room, unplugged and just standing there, sums up the whole SPA visit: confusing and nonsensical. The massage felt like a rushed, random Bangkok-style treatment, squeezed between a street-food stall and a souvenir shop, and left me wondering how I’d ended up there. Being told I had two minutes to get up and leave sounded more like an evacuation drill than service. There was no pleasant experience in sight. I won’t go into the full horror of what happened in your SPA, but I’ll attach a photo of the Dyson. Thanks for the funniest “luxury SPA moment” of my week.🤣🤣🤣

From our arrival through breakfast each day, everyone made us feel right at home. The hospitality at the rosewood Vienna was unforgettable, and our hostess and server at breakfast were especially attentive.
