St Martin Apartment

The price and location were great, and the host was really friendly. The train and tram are only a couple of minutes away, making it easy to get around or reach the airport. Shops for picking up goodies are close too.

The apartment was a 10 out of 10 for us, and we'd stay here again if we return to Vienna. Katerina was wonderful and professional. Even though we speak different languages, we understood each other perfectly. She kept us updated about public transport and museums, and made every effort to let us in early because our flight arrived very early. We won't forget that kind gesture, and were delighted with the hospitality. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with lovely decor, a large bed, and a very comfortable mattress. It's about 25 minutes from the city centre, but public transport connections are very close, so that wasn't a problem. We read a review saying the ground floor felt like a shop and seemed unsafe. The neighborhood is a good one, and although there are no barriers, we never felt unsafe. The apartment also has a good lock. The windows don't open, but we didn't need them to since it was very cold, and the heating was perfect.

The owner was very helpful, and the apartment was good value compared with other apartment-hotels in the city. It's small, but suited a few days in the beautiful Austrian capital. Nearby you'll find an INTERSPAR, a pharmacy, a McDonald's, and several restaurants. The metro is close too. The place is a little outside the centre, but the main attractions are only a few minutes away by metro.
