The area around the train station felt very unsafe, and that was the biggest issue for me. You have to stay close to it, and even in the daytime it seemed dangerous.

Street noise was the main downside. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a Vienna holiday: two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a single, plus a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. There was also a well-equipped kitchen with an espresso machine, dishwasher, and roomy fridge. The metro entrance was very close, and several grocery shops were within a ten-minute walk.
