Vienna Top Comfort Apartment

It’s just a flat in a pretty nondescript building, but inside it’s nicely decorated, well equipped, and close to downtown. Wien-Mitte train station is only a short walk away, and that’s where the airport CAT train runs, making it very convenient for flying into or out of Vienna. We loved our stay.

A nice place with all the appliances for living, cooking, and washing clothes, and the beds were very nice too. The only thing I’d complain about is the lack of air conditioning, but the fan and open windows took care of that. It’s also very close to Prater. Edit: the owner is a nice man too.

Not great. There’s no air conditioning, and it isn’t big enough for four people, let alone six.

❌I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE❌ The apartment was terribly dirty, and I had to clean it right away. The furniture was unusable, with locks on the drawers and cabinets, and there was no shower gel. Cobwebs covered the whole ceiling. But most importantly, the owner is a real scammer. She demanded a €200 deposit that she never intended to return. SHE WENT INTO THE APARTMENT WHILE WE WERE OUT! She took the furniture that was already missing, then photographed a bag of trash we’d collected by the entrance. We’d put it in a supermarket bag because there were no trash bags in the apartment. She also took a picture of the washed dishes hanging out to dry, then claimed we’d left the apartment dirty. Our keys were visible in the photo, so it must have been taken during our stay. I left the apartment cleaner than it was when we arrived. I washed the dishes, gathered the used linens and towels, swept up the trash, and took it out. But I couldn’t prove any of this, so stay away. P.S. I couldn’t finish writing another review, so I decided to write a letter to the owner instead. What’s your apartment number?
