We felt very comfortable in the well-equipped, clean apartment on the second floor, and the elevator made it easy to reach. Its two balconies have a fantastic panoramic view. The owners looked after us in an almost family-like way, and gave us a very friendly welcome on our second August holiday at the castle guesthouse. We plan to return next year. The five stars are deserved, and doll enthusiasts may also enjoy the doll exhibition in the guesthouse.

Fresh fruit salad at breakfast every day was a highlight, and the buffet had plenty of variety. The coffee was excellent, with several styles to choose from. Our studio was clean and nicely furnished, with a terrace and a fantastic view of the castle. Max and Margit, along with the staff, were attentive, polite, and always happy to answer our questions. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful week at the castle guesthouse. We'll definitely return. Best wishes from Vienna, Gisela and Susanne.

I still can't believe dogs aren't accepted in an apartment, regardless of size. It feels like there's an unjustified fear of disease and a lack of understanding of what this means to people who love animals. Unspeakable.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were always helpful, but the nice view of Landskron can't make up for everything. The value for money is so-so, and an extra €40 for a stay of fewer than three nights seems excessive. If I stay again, at least I'll know what to expect.
