Eventhotel Pyramide

Good day! Over the last month I've stayed here three times, in rooms on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. The rooms are incredibly clean and beautiful. The staff are top-notch, and breakfast is simply superb. There’s a gym, a swimming pool open until 9 PM, and two kinds of saunas. I've traveled a lot, but this place definitely has the most spacious parking area I've seen.

Getting to the room involved a very long walk because of the hotel's layout. The room itself felt basic, with a budget finish, no carpet, and none of the usual 4-star basics like a kettle or tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was extremely poor for a 4-star hotel, just one kind of plain croissant with no filling and no fancy cakes or pastries you'd normally expect at that level. Even with a “Do Not Disturb / Sleeping” sign on the door, cleaning staff repeatedly asked to come in when they saw me, just to change towels. They didn't understand English, which made the situation frustrating and uncomfortable. A very bad experience. I don't recommend this hotel.

The Christmas decorations made the place feel pleasant, and the hotel is very close to SCS, which is a big advantage. It was clean and well organized throughout, in the room as well as the shared spaces. The food was fairly good, nothing special but acceptable. The bathroom layout felt impractical: the bathtub and sink were together in one area of the room, while the toilet was in its own enclosed space within that room. The hallways also got quite noisy at times, which took away a little from the comfort. All in all, a good stay with a few things that could be improved.

The room was the only decent part of the stay, and it couldn't make up for the rest. The food was mediocre at best, with very limited options. Staff were mostly unfriendly, unhelpful, and downright rude, and communication was basically nonexistent. It honestly felt like they were trying to set us up to get more money. They said we had damaged things we'd never even touched, and it looked like they were using broken pieces to charge extra. For somewhere advertised as 4.5 stars, they seriously need to do better. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
