The quiet setting, with mountain views and no nearby neighbors or traffic, made this a lovely place to stay. The hostess was attentive, very friendly, and always available. It’s a great spot for walks with a dog, and the barn is open so you can pet and feed the animals. Fresh eggs and milk are available from the farm. The apartment has three large rooms, each with its own bathroom, and they’re exceptionally well equipped and well cared for. The cozy kitchen even has spices and a very good coffee machine, and they offer bread roll delivery.

The hearty breakfast and friendly hosts made our stay especially nice. The farm is beautiful, the rooms are cozy, and the location is very peaceful. There are goats and rabbits in an outdoor enclosure. Highly recommended!

We’ve stayed at Plankenhof for years and always enjoy it. The modern, comfortable rooms and excellent service are great, and the location is fantastic. The cuisine has a romantic feel to it.
