Nearly 37 years of visits, and we’re already looking forward to the next one. We’ve returned to familiar places and found new ones, and every stay has felt comfortable and welcoming. The rooms are still superb, with lovely views, quiet surroundings, and a child-friendly atmosphere. Some things have changed over the years, but your hospitality, warmth, and kind spirit have stayed the same. Thank you for all the years and inspiration.

The Mayr family made us feel welcome with their warm, informal hospitality and helpful advice whenever we had a question. Our apartment was clean, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed for a lovely week. It’s right by the Amberg lift slope, with a big toboggan run nearby, so it’s a great spot for learning to ski and playing in the snow. We’d happily come back, and the location looks well worth a summer visit too.

The hospitality here is hard to put into words. From the warm welcome to the birthday surprise and all the helpful tips about hikes and what’s coming up, the hosts were incredibly thoughtful. The house is beautiful and well located, and the apartments are furnished with care. The views and surroundings are wonderful too. Thanks so much to you both, we hope to see you again soon.

We had six lovely days here and felt right at home, with our two kids, aged five and two. The host family was so friendly and always had good ideas for excursions. The apartment was well equipped and furnished, and the trampoline, playground, and other play equipment kept the children happy.

The view over the mountains and down the valley toward Lake Walchsee was the highlight for us. Our rooms were comfortable and made it easy to relax, and the hosts were so kind and friendly, doing their best to meet every wish. It was a wonderful vacation, thank you again.
