Welzenhof

Set in a countryside farm building, with a golf course, driving range, and putting green next door. The rooms and bathrooms are a good size. The decor is 70's style, but it's okay. Breakfast was good, and the owner was friendly.

Rosi & Leo made our holiday feel carefree and happy, with their heartwarming hospitality at Welzenhof. They shared tips for hikes, restaurants, and excursions, and made us the best breakfast, with everything we could want. We're very grateful for such a lovely stay. Breakfast was a real highlight, fresh, tasty, varied, and made with care. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and furnished with so much attention that we felt at home right away. Rosi and Leo made the stay especially lovely with their warm, genuine manner. They were always helpful and friendly, and had great tips for the area. You feel like a welcome friend, not just a guest. We'd happily return!

The visit to their own cowshed was a particular highlight, and we felt welcome at Pension Welzenhof from the first minute. Rosi was always keen to make sure guests had what they wanted at breakfast. The spread was excellent and very plentiful every day, with bread, rolls, cold cuts, cheese, freshly baked cake, fruit, and muesli. Fresh eggs could be prepared daily for anyone who wanted one. Our room was modern and very well maintained. Rosi and Leo were friendly throughout and gave us very helpful excursion tips. Free Wi-Fi and parking were available, and the parking area was always cleared of snow. We stayed at Pension Welzenhof from January 2nd to January 14th, 2026, for the first time, and will definitely come back. It couldn't have been better. We're already looking forward to our next holiday at the Welzenhof. Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rosi and Leo's guesthouse.
