Appartement Reitlhof

The apartment is beautiful, and the view from it is stunning. The owners are very kind and helpful. I’d recommend staying here.

There was loads of room for our family of five, with a large room for each of us, and the kitchen was well equipped. The place was very clean, and the landlords, who live in the same building, were really friendly. We also appreciated the separate drying room for hiking and ski gear. At 1200 meters above sea level, it's quiet and you can see the Krimml Waterfalls. It worked well as a base for trips around the Pinzgau, Hohe Tauern, and Zillertal valleys. A washing machine in the apartment would've been handy, though the landlords did offer to do laundry for us. Getting there along the narrow main road with its 17% gradient and then the farm track was an adventure every day.

The lady of the house took us up to the alpine pasture and showed us spots with mushrooms and blueberries. That was a lovely part of a very relaxing stay, and we’re grateful for the warm welcome. The balcony looks out over the valley and the Krimml Waterfalls, with beautiful nature all around and a real sense of peace. The apartment was clean, nicely furnished, and spacious, with modern conveniences, while still being in an authentic old farmhouse away from the tourist crowds.

Watching the New Year's Eve fireworks from up there was unforgettable 😍. We felt right at home in this beautiful, spacious, clean apartment. It had everything we needed, and the owners were so kind and helpful. The view is breathtaking. Highly recommended.
